5C Bennett, Kim

Welcome to 5C! My name is Kim Bennett and I am the math teacher for the entire 5th grade. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Home Economics (Textiles and Clothing Option). I was in Sales and Marketing for 10 years in the Fashion Industry prior to becoming a teacher. I am certified to teach Elementary grades 1-8. I have been teaching for 22 years.

On a personal note, I have a Standard Schnauzer, Tessa (pictured above as a puppy), that I show and a Kerry Blue Terrier, Blu, that I adopted. Together, my dogs and I do lots of dog classes and activities including, Agility, Obedience, and Rally.

As part of the No Excuses University program at Bradley, my home room adopted New Mexico State University and we are recognized as the NMSU Aggies. I am excited to challenge all 5th graders to follow the NMSU slogan which is, "Live, Learn, and Thrive".

I can be contacted at Bradley at (915) 849-2840 or through my e-mail address: kxbennet@episd.org

My conference period is from 8:15 - 9:00. You are welcome to set up an appointment.
We have many exciting challenges before us and I look forward to working with you and your child!
