PE Alisha Leverett

P.E.Welcome to my Physical Education Class!

My name is Alisha Leverett and I am one of two physical education coaches, here at Omar Bradley Elementary.  I've been here at Omar Bradley since 2007 and I enjoy teaching.  My goal is not only to teach your child/children fun active games but to teach them life long lessons on healthy habits.

Here is a little about myself.  I am from El Paso, where I attended middle school, high school and college.  I graduated from Austin High School in 2001, where I began my athletic journey where later I was able to fulfill my dream of running in college. I was a multi-sport athlete (volleyball, basketball, and track & field) and maintained a 3.92 G.P.A in academics.  As I excelled in athletics, I was able to receive a full track & field scholarship at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), where I joined the women's team.  I competed for UTEP from 2001-2005 and ran the 100 M. dash, 200 M. dash, 4 by 100 M. relay and 4 by 400 M. relay.  During my time at UTEP, I received my Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology and Minor in Business.  I graduated in May of 2006 from the University.

If you ever need to speak to me, my conference period is from 2:30-3:15 p.m. or you can reach me at 849-2840.
